And Another One Down

Howdy!

I finished up my semester this morning. It’s been a long semester filled with more work than usual it seemed, but it’s done leaving me a bit like this.

It had a few rough spots, some of which had me in a little ball of stress, but I made it through. And now, crazily enough, I’m a third year PT student. If all goes well this summer will be my last semester of classroom work and then it’s off for roughly eight months of clinicals and then graduation this time next year.

But school is boring, so enough about that. My sisters and I went to see Captain America, Civil War almost as soon as I got home from my test this morning. We had the entire theater almost to ourselves. The movie is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Team Cap forever!!! Cap and Bucky are awesome and I love their friendship but they both need hugs and I volunteer as tribute. πŸ˜€

Fangirling is scary, so we’ll move along. But let’s discuss the movie in the comments shall we? πŸ˜‰

I’ve already taken a delightful nap on the couch so what else is in store this all-too-short-break? Reading! There are some awesome books coming out this month from some author friends that I’m really excited about and will be showing up on the blog where I will proceed to convince you to get them. Fair?

I’m also hoping to get some writing done. I want to knock out a big chunk of The Wolf Prince, but we’ll see what happens. I actually have some homework I want to get done before the semester starts back up at the end of May. I know, I know. So lame. But it’s better than trying to do it during the crazy-hectic-stressful semester we all know is coming.

I always have grand plans for my breaks, but they always end up being waay to short and super hectic. The big excitement will be heading to Houston for the Comic Con over Memorial Day Weekend. I can’t wait!

What glorious summer plans do you have?

  1. I haven’t seen it yet and you’re one of the first people I know who has. I hope to see it soon. Do you think it’ll still be in theaters next month? Congratulations! Wow! You’re finally graduating next year?

    • Thanks! I know, it seems like it’s taken forever but gone by really fast at the same time. Scary. πŸ™‚

I think it should be. It’s really good!

  3. I’m dying to see it too! (I may be obsessing over it just a leeetle bit. But I’ve got to convince Bri that it’ll be good so she’ll go see it with me. πŸ™‚ ) After the last Avengers, that’s gonna be a bit difficult, though.
Sorry, but you did say we should discuss it below. Orders are orders, ya know. πŸ˜‰

    • Hehe! πŸ™‚ I liked Avengers 2, but it wasn’t my favorite. I got bored halfway through with the Hulk v Ironman fight scene that was unnecessary in my opinion. Anyway, you can rest assured that this movie is waay better. It’s really long though, so be prepared. We all loved it.

I need to see Civil War still; I’m looking forward to it! πŸ˜€
I hope your break is going good so far, nice and relaxing. πŸ™‚ My summer will be revising and reading, and hopefully a trip out to the Midwest to see relatives!
