Howdy!

Today is a super fun day! It’s time for the cover, and title, reveal for one of my favorite books series ever – The Modern Tales of NaFianna by Hazel West. 🙂 Seriously, it’s an alternate urban fantasy with Irish guys, fast cars, swords, magic, and rock ballads. What is not to love?

So here we go with the cover for….

Riots, Faerie rebels, and road trips with the King of the Unseelie—it’s just a typical day, right?

“Stop, BPAFF!”

The figure started and spun around so that I glimpsed a pale face under the hood and a snarl on the lips of the man. I lunged forward to grab him but he jerked back only to trip over Rory’s outstretched leg. The Fae man twisted agilely and landed on his back to protect the bundle he held, a soundless whoosh of air escaping his lungs.

“You’re under arrest,” I told him, reaching for my cuffs. “Come quietly.”

But he obviously had other ideas and decided to sweep my legs from under me and bolt for the window. I cursed, hauling myself up and tripping over a pile of stuffed animals as I drew my knife, throwing it so that it snagged his cloak and pinned it to the wall, stopping him for a moment.

“I got him!” Rory yelled and rushed forward, grabbing the figure just as he tugged his cloak free and leapt out the window, taking Rory with him. My assistant tumbled from the window with a cry and I hurried over to lean out of it just in time to see the Fae man disappearing over the fence and Rory groaning on the ground. I slipped out the window to land next to him, pulling him into a sitting position as he cradled his arm.

“I think I broke it,” he said forlornly.

I sighed and patted his shoulder, making him wince. “Yeah, looks like it. Come on then, let’s get you taken care of. That’s all we’re going to be able to do tonight.”
