Howdy!
I was tagged last week by the lovely Rebekah Devall for the 777 Challenge. Except this one is a bit different from ones I’ve done in the past. You get to do paragraphs!
Rules!
- Open WIP to the seventh page
- Scroll past the seventh line
- Copy the next seven paragraphs…. and paste them on your blog for THE WORLD to read
Tag seven people!lol @ me for never doing this step.
In honor of The Wolf Prince going to the formatter last night(!!) Here’s a bit of a sneak peek for you!
He and Lars shared the same brown hair and broad-shouldered build, but Lars’s eyes were the same light blue as the lake, and Killian’s were amber and flecked with gold.
“Wolf’s eyes,” an old huntsman had once said and spat meaningfully.
Lars nudged him. “You can’t listen to what people say. They don’t know you like I do. You’re not cursed.”
If only you knew. Killian kept the thought to himself. Lars wouldn’t listen if he tried to explain. “Why did you come looking for me anyway?”
“Oh! Father has your present.”
“Why didn’t you tell me in the first place?” Killian scrambled down from his perch.
“Well, you seemed set on ignoring that it was your birthday…” Lars shrugged.
And since I’ve been sharing a lot about The Mountain Baron too, and people have seemed really interested and have also been so supportive and encouraging to me for finishing this behemoth, here’s a bonus snippet from TMB!
~
A serving girl came out and began to clear the table. She seemed to be the bravest of the three who helped the Talam’s wife, surreptitiously watching Rhys out of the corner of her eye.
“You’ve got a bit of a legend, don’t you?” Sarah waited until the girl went back to the kitchen.
“It’s what every man dreams of, isn’t it?” Rhys pushed his plate away.
“Sean misses you, you know. We all do.”
“It’s not like it was my choice.” His voice rasped deeper.
“He didn’t believe any of it when the news came.”
“A man can believe what he wants.”

Yay for snippets! Although these ended up being lines anyway and not bigger chunks of text… If you want to do this one, consider yourself tagged! And if you do it, link back to me or comment with a link so I can go stalk your epic stories!!
Aaahh, awesome! I’m now intrigued about the eyes and curse thing… o.o (And yay that it’s off to the formatter!!) The Mountain Baron’s #allthedrama is my favorite. XD
Thanks for sharing! I’m totally going to steal this one sometime. 😀

I want to read these!!!!! But first they have to come out. And I have to read Aredor and co. because they sound fantastic too and I haven’t got to them yet because I’m averaging one book a month. But before that I’ve gotta finish Hood, which is sooo cool.
Love all the bro stuff. 😀
And late congrats on finishing the Mountain Baron!! 🙂
