Howdy!
This week has already been amazing with all the shares and comments and likes of Oath of the Outcast! My heart is so full right now! And some reviews have started coming in, which simultaneously stresses me out and makes me so excited to see what people think of these characters and this world.
Even though book 1 just came out, I wanted to take a second to tease book 2– with a title reveal!
If you have the book, it’s not a big secret or anything, I just want to be overly dramatic. 🙂
But first! Check out these stops on the tour. An Interview/Review with Kyle Shultz, and another interview plus fun worldbuilding tidbits with K.A. Cummins.
I’m also going to be doing a live Q&A over on Instagram tonight at 7:30 pm CST to discuss all things Oath of the Outcast or whatever questions you have. I’d love to see you there! You can find me as @cmbanschbach!!
And now…

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know Oath just came out two days ago, but I’m so pumped for book 2 because it has all my favorite parts and scenes, and some new characters in it!!
A lost brother.
An unwilling outlaw.
A rising enemy.
An unusual alliance.
Years ago, Rhys MacDuffy was brutally cut off from his clan, stripped of his name and inheritance, and banished to the remote Dragon Keep. Perched high above the Shang Pass in the land of Alsaya, he assumed the mantle of the Mountain Baron, serving out his sentence as the overseer of the worst outlaws and outcasts.
But one day he receives a desperate message from the clan who disowned him: MacDuffy’s Seer—his beloved brother—has been taken by their enemies.
With his band of Mountain Brigands and an unwelcome sidekick, Rhys leaves his mountain stronghold to find and rescue his brother. The tide of war is rising amongst the Clans of Alsaya, fueled by the magic-wielding sect of Druids who seek to unleash a dark force the world has long forgotten.
Can the bond of blood run deeper than banishment?

Very nice cover-excited for book 2!!! 🤩 I just finished Oath of the Outcast in the late, dark night. But so bummed I have to wait for the next book. 😫. We late night readers have such little patience. 😆
