Editing and Coaching Services
Hey! I’m a multi-published author in the fantasy-adventure genre and have written in multiple sub-genres. I’ve independently published with my own imprint and been published with small/trad presses. I’ve been writing for 14+ years, and publishing for 10. I’ve worked with numerous editors and author coaches, and would love to pass on my expertise and knowledge to you!
My focus is character driven stories, primarily fantasy and sci-fi, with complex and unique worldbuilding. I edit across the YA/NA/Adult spectrum, specializing in NA/Adult, with focus in fantasy and sci-fi. I help draw out the unique aspects of your worldbuilding to create a more immersive reading experience, and help craft characters who will stay with readers long after the last page.
I prefer no Romantasy per the standard BookTok/Bookstagram definition (does not exclude romantic subplots) and will decline anything with explicit sexual content. I will consider contemporary, but I am not as familiar with that genre.

Chapter Critique
A developmental edit of your first three chapters with emphasis on improving worldbuilding, plot, and characters.
Includes – in-document notes, generalized over-view/feedback in a separate one-page document, a chance to ask any questions in one followup email.
Perfect for a first experience with editing or getting your chapters ready to pitch/submit to agents/editors!

Manuscript Edit/Critique
A comprehensive critique of your full manuscript with focus on worldbuilding, plot, and characters.
Incudes – in-document notes, 5-10 page assessment with more focus on highlighting areas needing improvement and solutions to help make your story shine! Includes a 30 min follow up call (or email) to discuss feedback.
Cost: $0.02/word
