So I missed my usual Thursday post because I kind of forgot it was Thursday and I’m pretty sure I missed a day somewhere this week. And I spent all of yesterday afternoon updating the website! (What do you think of the new look?)

Even the smallest person can shape the course of the future – LOTR

Nobody is unimportant. We all have a purpose in this world, even if it seems like we’re no one of consequence. To borrow a quote from Doctor Who – “In 900 years of time and space, I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important.”

So granted, I’m not sure what my whole take on the whole destiny thing is. I have a really long circular argument about it, BUT life is what you make of it. If you don’t like your present circumstances or the path everyone predicts for you, then “be the change you want to see in the world”.

From the timid mice to the warlike otters and hares, there’s always someone chosen to wield the sword and defeat the bad guy. Some of the heroes aren’t even warriors. Only you know the courage within you to rise up and take a stand.

Good will always triumph over evil – Narnia

Digory turns away from the temptation of greed. Aslan defeats the White Witch. Caspian and the Pevensies free Narnia from tyranny. Rilian throws off his bonds. The Ape is defeated. It might not always seem like good will win, but if you have your trust in the right place then you cannot be defeated.

Hiccup would never have learned to ride a dragon if he hadn’t shown mercy to Toothless. They had no reason to be friends, their people had been fighting each other for decades. But that act of mercy turned their whole word upside down and brought their worlds together.
