Howdy!
I was tagged the other day by Michael Gunter to take part in this contest. Basically the rules are as follows. The 777 challenge requires you go to Page 7 of your work-in-progress, scroll down to Line 7 and share the next 7 lines in a blog post. Once you have done this, you can tag 7 other bloggers to do the same with their work-in-progress.’
I have two works in progress so it’s pretty difficult to decide which one. I might end up doing both in this post.
Here’s from The Mountain Baron-
“You’ve got a bit of a legend, don’t you?” Sarah waited until the girl went back to the kitchen.
“It’s what every man dreams of, isn’t it?” Rhys pushed his plate away.
“He misses you, you know. We all do.”
“It’s not like it was my choice.”
“He didn’t believe any of it when the news came.”
“A man can believe what he wants.”
“Did you really…do what they said you did?”
“There seemed to be enough proof that I did.”
Hmmm….Well that’s not cryptic at all. Let’s try another one.
Ok, I actually lied. The one from The Wolf Prince wasn’t any good, so here’s from Worldjumpers!
“I’m still being pursued,” Captain Blackheart said. “If they catch up with me again, it will come to a fight.”
David felt hope slipping away as his grandfather thought it over.
“If I let him go for a few weeks, is there danger of that?”
“If I make a few jumps, that’ll give us some distance. They don’t have the equipment to jump so I’ll be back in the lead.” She was certain. “I had a younger brother, sir. I’ll look after David like family.”
Clint knew his grandson would be safe. His mind told him he should be wary of a stranger running from the law, but in his heart he knew he could trust her.
Yay! So, according to the rules of the contest, I must now tag several other people. It says seven, but details details. Hopefully they all see this and take up the challenge.
Just leave me a note in the comments letting me know if you’ll do the challenge!
Love this! I had so much fun when I did it. 🙂

Oh yeah! Fairies are the coolest. ;D
Speaking of which, I can’t wait until “A Faery Tale” is published (I really wanna know what happens next!).

🙂 I’ve been giving some serious thought to trying out the self-publishing route with it. But I want to do some research before doing anything. 🙂

That sounds like a great idea, especially since you’ll be more able to control the $price range. If you have any questions about self publishing, ask away! I’ve self published already, and would be glad to help with any questions you have. 🙂
