Looking For Beta Readers!

Howdy!

A few weeks ago I finished typing up The Wolf Prince and have done a few rounds of edits on it. And now I ready for some readers to look at it!

If you’ve never been a beta reader, you basically get to be a first reader of the book, tell me what you did or didn’t like, offer some constructive feedback on characters, plot, and pacing, and maybe even catch rogue grammatical elements. πŸ™‚

If this sounds like something you’re interested it, I’d love to have you aboard.

Here’s a bit about the book first.

Prince Killian of Calvyrn has always known he is cursed. He can hear the wolves howling and knows they are calling to him.

A sorcerer needs the blood of a magic animal to trap the faery folk forever. When he hears of the centuries-old curse on the royal family, it is but the work of a moment to change the young prince into a wolf.

Now Killian, his brother Lars, and Rose, a young Ranger trainee, must outrun the sorcerer and his minions as they try and find a way to lift the spell over Killian. The faeries of Myrnius might be their only hope but once Killian steps foot outside of Calvyrn, he will no longer be hidden from the sorcerer. Is that a risk they are willing to take?Β

Length – ~55K words

Chapters – 34 + very short Epilogue.

You will notice that this is listed as the second book in the Faeries of Myrnius series. You do not have to have read Adela’s Curse (book 1) for this one, but there will be a few events mentioned and some characters from book 1 that feature. But shouldn’t be a problem. πŸ™‚

If you kind of want to get a feel for the book, you can find some snippets HERE and HERE!

Signs ups will be open until next Friday! I will send out the manuscript no later than the following Monday. Deadline for feedback will be August 5, but if you need an extension or anything, we can probably work something out. πŸ™‚

You’ll also notice on the form that there’s a space to tell me if you’re interested in being a beta reader for me in the future. I’d like to kind of build a list of readers instead of posting signs ups like this. All that being said, if you say no, you won’t hurt my feelings. Also, if you would like to read for me in the future but don’t have time right now for The Wolf Prince, go ahead and fill out the form and leave an explanation in the comment box. πŸ™‚

Sign ups closed at this time. If you’d like to be a beta reader for me, use the contact form with the heading Beta Reader. πŸ™‚

This will be my next publishing project, so I’m excited and as always, scared, to place it into the hands of new readers!

  1. I can’t find the beta reader contact form you mentioned, but do add me to your list. πŸ™‚
I wish I could’ve joined in for the wolf prince. If recent tragic events hadn’t happened, I would have. But hey, if you do a second round of betas for this book, let me know and count me in.

    • Will do!
That’s ok. I hope you and your family are doing well after everything. ❀

(And for some reason your comments got shoved into the spam folder?? Hopefully it won't happen next time.)
