Howdy!

So, in trying to come up with a post for today to finish up the relaunch, I went back to the new reviews (that I’m seriously still grinning about) and some resulting conversations in comments and in interviews.

So, if you’ve read The Wildcat of Braeton, you know about the epilogue. If you haven’t, I’m not going to spoil it. Just know that it was one of my favorite things to write ever. But it pretty wraps everything up and says there will probably be no more books.

Is that true?

Technically yes, there will be no more full length novels about Corin, Aiden, and Co.

BUT….

I’ve been writing short stories, and some mini novellas honestly, for these characters since the beginning. I even hilariously titled one “yet another one-Liam” early on (and it was like the 3rd one I’d started). Since then I’ve finished, or am in varying stages of, FIFTEEN short stories.

So what does that mean for you?

Well, my sisters and some readers have been trying to get me to finish compile all of them into one book for a while now. So, that’s definitely on the table.

What I have are 15 stories from characters like Amaura, Martin, Liam, Aiden, Will, Gwilym, Celyn, and Gordon. Liam has like three stories since he’s needy awesome. 🙂

Some of them are scenes from the books from different POV’s and with a little extra info and “behind the scenes” moments, others are original stories like ‘what did Martin do before the war?’

And, for all you Emeth fans out there, I’ve started the short story on the original Emeth. 🙂

I’ve also gotten requests for an Ahmed story. I have a few ideas for an Azrahil story.

So, if you’ve read the books, what character do you want to have a short story?

I’ll probably continue to post some on this site, but most of the major ones will most likely go to the eventual compilation. 🙂

And, there might be another novel set in the Aredor universe. 🙂 I have the first three chapters written (a while ago, honestly) of a story set in the neighboring country of Cyndor, which takes place concurrent to the events of the books, and will feature a few characters from the series. So, if you want to see that, make sure to bug me so I’ll move it up the project list. It involves a young woman, her violin, a half gypsy, a kidnapping, an epic quest, and Will. (Yep, he’ll be along for the adventure. :))
